2. Services Provided
MMG provides professional maritime inspection, survey, audit, and consultancy services, including but not limited to:
Flag State Inspections (FSI) and Panama Annual Safety Inspections (ASI)
ISM, ISPS, and MLC Internal Audits
Pre-Port State Control (PSC) Readiness Inspections
Marine Surveys and Pre-Purchase Inspections
Maritime Compliance Consultancy
Ship Registration Support
Seafarer Consultancy and Documentation Support
Manuals, Plans, and Technical Documentation Preparation
All services are provided subject to applicable flag administration instructions, class/RO requirements, vessel schedule, and port logistics, as applicable.
3. Engagement and Service Agreements
3.1 A formal service engagement begins when a written confirmation (email, letter, or signed proposal) is issued by MMG and accepted by the client.
3.2 Submission of a service request form on this website constitutes an expression of interest only and does not create a binding contract until MMG issues a written confirmation.
3.3 MMG reserves the right to decline any service request without obligation to provide reasons.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Fees for services are as stated in the applicable quotation or service proposal issued by MMG.
4.2 Indicative fee ranges are published on the Services page for general guidance. Final fees are confirmed in writing before commencement of any chargeable service.
4.3 Payment is due as stated in the invoice issued by MMG. Standard payment terms are within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.4 MMG accepts payment by bank transfer (SWIFT/IBAN), Wise Business transfer, and other methods as agreed.
4.5 Late payment may result in suspension of services and may attract interest in accordance with applicable law.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1 The client is responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information required for the performance of the service.
5.2 The client is responsible for ensuring vessel, crew, and documentation readiness prior to any scheduled inspection or audit.
5.3 MMG shall not be held liable for delays, failures, or additional costs arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 MMG's liability for any claim arising from the provision of services is limited to the fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
6.2 MMG is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, including loss of profit, loss of contract, or vessel detention, arising from the services or advice provided.
6.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All reports, certificates, checklists, and documents produced by MMG remain the intellectual property of MMG until full payment has been received.
7.2 The client may use deliverables for the specific purpose agreed. Reproduction or redistribution for other purposes requires prior written consent from MMG.
8. Confidentiality
8.1 MMG treats all client information, vessel data, and inspection findings as confidential and will not disclose such information to third parties without written consent, except where required by applicable law or flag/class authority.
8.2 The client agrees to treat any proprietary methods, forms, or procedures provided by MMG as confidential.
9. Use of This Website
9.1 The content of this website is provided for general information purposes only. Nothing on this website constitutes professional or legal advice.
9.2 MMG makes reasonable efforts to keep information current and accurate but does not warrant its completeness or suitability for any particular purpose.
9.3 Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
